At OK Fadeaway Hoops, registering for our tournaments is straightforward and designed to ensure a smooth process for teams and individual players alike. Below, you’ll find detailed instructions on how to secure your spot in our upcoming events:
How to Register:
• Team Registration: Complete the online registration form with all team details including players’ names and contact information.
NSID Certification:
• Requirement: All players must be NSID certified to participate. Visit National Sports ID to obtain or renew your certification.
• Upload: Upload your NSID certification during the registration process to expedite your team’s entry.
Fees and Deadlines:
• Registration Fees: Each tournament has a specified entry fee, detailed on our registration page.
• Early Bird Discounts: Take advantage of discounted rates by registering before the early bird deadline.
• Payment Options: Secure online payment via our website or contact us for alternative payment methods.

Overview of Tournament Rules
Familiarize yourself with the rules and regulations governing OK Fadeaway Hoops tournaments. For detailed information, please refer to our Tournament Rules page.
Key Special Rules and Regulations for the 2024-2025 Fadeaway Hoops Tournament
1. Player Participation:
• Players can only play for one team per division but can participate in multiple divisions.
2. Game Timing:
• 1st-5th Grade: 12-minute halves.
• 6th-8th Grade: 14-minute halves.
• High School: 16-minute halves.
3. Timeouts:
• One 30-second and one 60-second timeout per half, no carry-over.
• One 30-second timeout in overtime, no carry-over.
4. Fouls:
• Six fouls per player.
• 10 team fouls result in 1-and-1 free throws.
• 13 team fouls result in a double bonus (two shots).
5. Overtime:
• First overtime: 2 minutes.
• Second overtime: Sudden death (first team to score two points wins).
6. Lead Rules:
• Clock runs continuously when the lead is 20 points or more, stops when the lead is reduced to 15 points or less.
• Game ends if a team has a 20-point lead with 2 minutes or less remaining.
7. Forfeits:
• Forfeits are recorded as a 15-0 win.
• Maximum points for a win or loss are capped at 15 points.
8. Pressing Rules:
• 1st & 2nd Grade girls and 1st Grade boys can press up to a 15-point lead.
• All other grades can press up to a 20-point lead.
• No pressing allowed if the lead exceeds these points; only half-court defenses permitted.
9. Free Throws:
• 1st & 2nd Grade girls and 1st Grade boys can shoot close free throws.
10. Technical Fouls:
• First technical foul results in no additional penalty.
• Second and subsequent technical fouls result in ejection from the game and the player/coach must leave the building until the game is complete.
11. Team Responsibilities:
• Each team must bring their warm-up balls; officials choose the game ball from these.
• Home team wears light uniforms, visitor team wears dark uniforms.
• Coaches must be at least 21 years old and must have designated event wristbands.
12. Protest:
• Players must be verified through NSID.
• Protest fee: $100, refunded if the protested athlete is found ineligible.
• Protests must be made before the game starts.
13. Conduct:
• Good sportsmanship is mandatory.
• Swearing and inappropriate language are not tolerated.
• Site directors have the authority to remove anyone from the tournament for misconduct.
• Ejected individuals must sit out the following game.
